I Need A New Phone!

I am currently using an LG Viewty. Its been in my possession for 11 months now, and though I love its 5 mega-pixel camera, I am starting to think that its time to replace it.

This phone has a 3 - inch touch screen, and though it is quite okay, a person who wants to indulge in texting would certainly find this phone frustrating! Whenever there are multiple text messages coming in the screen tends to blink and the cursor slows down incredibly. Where personalization is concerned the Viewty only has three built - in themes, which is of course starting to bore me.

My friend Gary bought a similar phone, and he has had it for about two months and he's starting to complain the same unfortunate things I have been experiencing. I knew I should've chosen a Nokia N95! Well, anyway its not to late hopefully by the end of the year I'd be able to buy a new phone.

Thank You!

I received a very special gift last Friday, it was a "thank you card" handmade by my trainees from the 11th batch, and it also came with a pack of dark Hershey chocolate. Words cannot describe how happy I felt when they handed it to me.

Honestly I had never imagined I'd become a trainer. I have always believed that I was too short - tempered for the job, and I would probably won't have fun doing it. But after giving it a try well I am currently on my 14th batch of trainees.

Its true that the salary of a teacher/instructor is not something one would go for, but nonetheless I get an overwhelming sense of happiness whenever, someone says "sir, thank you! you've made a difference in me." Next year I plan to return to Singapore and work ther, but once I have earned enough I see myself returning to the Philippines to teach!

All Saint's Day

Today we commemorate loved ones who have passed away, by a simple prayer and lighting a candle. May all the souls of the departed be guided towards heaven and may they find peace in the glorious company of our Creator.

This year the Philippines suffered greatly with the burden brought by typhoon after typhoon as well as other unfortunate incidents. Lives were lost, homes destroyed and at some point starting over is a bit hard to consider.

But after seeing the sheer number of people who exerted effort just to visit the cemeteries to pray for their departed loved ones, convinces me that hope is still alive and though some hearts maybe suffering with sadness, for it is never easy to lose someone dear, it is very clear that faith prevails over tragedies.

At Thirty - three

Yesterday I celebrated my 33rd birthday. For heaven's sake I'm old! But setting the number of years aside I can honestly say that I am very happy. I feel very fortunate to be living the kind of life that I have right now.

I may not have much in terms of money and material possession, but I have something which is even more valuable than all that. I have my family, a mom who truly loves me, brothers and sisters who have been supportive as well as friends who never leave and of course the special love of a person that adds a special color to my life.

To God Almighty, I am very grateful. Thank You for letting me live a wonderful life. :-)

The Onslaught of Ondoy

Being a Filipino means that one must have experienced as many typhoons as there are letters on the alphabet, every year of one's life. That's why when my mom warned me about typhoon Ondoy, nothing sounded out of the ordinary.

So I went to work and while I was on the bus I listened to the music using my cellularphone and I didn't pay attention to how hard the rain was falling. There was a typhoon so I just assumed that its natural and that by the time I reached the City it would have stopped - it didn't! At first I wasn't alarmed I was feeling more irritated than worried because since it was still pouring there's a chance that I might get wet when I get off the bus. But when I pulled the curtain and looked outside, I was shocked!

The Metro was experiencing a shower like never before and I could see that the drainage system couldn't keep up with the water volume. This is when I noticed that the bus started to run slowly traffic was building up and the lady outside my window was wading in what appeared to be knee - deep flood water.
Naturally I didn't want to panic so I just told myself that it would soon recede, but much to my disappoinment and horror, what I thought to be just another temporary flooding became a deluge as the water rose faster than two love struck lovers could say "I do!"
In all my life that was the first time I experienced being stranded on the bus with no food or water. I was only able to get by with the kindness of the bus driver who was lucky to have food and water with him.
I waited for what seemed like an eternity inside the bus and without a choice I spent the entire Saturday evening, waiting for water to recede, until finally at about 3 AM Sunday the bus was able to make a trip. It was one of the longest day of my life, but I am thankful because nothing bad happened to my family. I am blessed and thus my prayers go out to all those who have been terribly afflicted by the typhoon.
May God comfort as all!

Bolstering Your Manhood 2

video

Last time I blogged about a group of boys who entrusted their manhood to a self - proclaimed surgeon to enhanced their capacity of sexually satisfying their partners.

It turns out that it wasn't the last time, nor was the guy on the video the last patient. Here's another video clip which more clearly demonstrate what's being done to the guy's willy.

So Much for John Avila

Last Wednesday my friends and I went to the Trinoma Mall along North EDSA to have dinner. While we were headed for the 3rd level we saw John Avila on the escalator going down. He was with a girl and judging from the paper bags they were carrying its clear that the two of them are shopping.

I was quite disappointed though, I mean Mr. Avila is an eyecandy on TV and on print, he looks stunningly good looking. Imagine my surprise when I saw him and I even had to look hard just so I could recognize him. I mean, in person he doesn't carry much of this radiant persona that he often has when he is on television.

Oh well, maybe I just expected too much from him. Here is one of his photos when he posed for L Magazine, and I am telling you, in person he is just another ordinary guy, no spark, no crazy energy that draws attention.
